Buying a New Processor?
5. AMD K6-3 The K6-3 is really just a souped-up version of the K6-2. It is no better than the K6-2 at floating point, but is faster (Mhz for Mhz) than the K6-2 at running most programs. It is available in 400Mhz and 450Mhz versions. These offer good value for money for those not interested in games or graphics. However, we feel that most users will be better off with a Socket 370 Celeron, which is no more expensive. |
