Buying a New Processor? 5. AMD K6-3 The K6-3 is really just a souped-up version of the K6-2. It is no better than the K6-2 at floating point, but is faster (Mhz for Mhz) than the K6-2 at running most programs. It is available in 400Mhz and 450Mhz versions.
