This is a PCI Plug and Play modem and in operation is pretty much the same as the external modem so we will not re-review the software etc for fear that extreme boredom may set in.

The package includes the same Galaxy II software giving the fax and answerphone functions as per the external modem.

The driver used with this modem is the Conexant PCI modem enumerator and in our online connection test gave an average connection speed of 46,666 bps.

Contents of the package are essentially the same as the external modem except some external cables, which are not required. Software CD's and manuals are as supplied with the external modem.
