ABIT VP6 Raid Motherboard
Performance It goes without saying with a Motherboard that is featured packed; as is the VP6 it is unlikely to fail in the performance stakes. The question really remains as to how well it will do? First off with the 3DMARK 2000 benchmark in 800 x 600 which returned a score of 6053 marks followed by 1024 x 768 with a scintillating score of 6053 marks, in comparison to the AMD scores we have had in the past using the ABIT KT7-Raid this is on par, however the AMD was the Duron 800, and not the equivalent AMD Thunderbird. Clearly this is another discussion that we shall not dwell on, as it is one of processors and not Motherboards.
The VP6 remains as an excellent business performer with a fine score of 153 marks in the SYSMark 2000 test. Considering this is based on an Intel Pentium III Coppermine processor the score firmly falls into the high-end processor category.
As the BAPCo SYSMark 2000 scores well in the Winstone 2000 benchmarks, providing sufficient proof of consistency, along with reliability for business applications. The score of 31 again falls firmly into the high-end processor category.
