MANAGING THE OUTSOURCE RELATIONSHIP

The service agreement or contract provides the form and structure of your relationship with the
outsource service provider. The success of your outsourcing experience depends on (1) the careful
structuring of that agreement and (2) your active management of the business relationship.
Defining the Service Agreement. The service agreement must spell out explicitly and in detail
the fundamentals of the outsourcing relationship:
