Mad Onion 3DMark 2000

3DMark 2000 is one of the best 3D performance diagnostic benchmark software currently available. To provide a comprehensive result we ran under two resolutions 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 both in 16-bit colour.

The Elite K7VZM is manufactured to appeal to the value conscientious buyer, and as such it's performance cannot be expected to be earth shattering, however scores of 5810 and 6385 in the 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600 benchmarks respectively are good for a motherboard with such a superb price tag.

BAPCO - SYSmark 2000

SYSmark 2000 is an application-based benchmark that reflects today's leading edge software applications for Internet Content Creation and Office Productivity.

In terms of application-based benchmarks the Elite K7VZM performs satisfactorily. This compares well with similar system's in its class, the Mesh D750XL we reviewed here not so long ago with the same configuration scored 134 marks. As a comparison the Elite falls fits comfortably into the middle performance category.

ZIFF DAVIS - Content Creation Winstone 2000

Winstone 2000 is similar to SYSmark 2000 and is used by us as a comparison to the SYSmark 2000 benchmarks.

Content Creation Winstone 2000 scores reflect a similar trend as the SYSmark scores, again middle of the road, but slightly lower than we expected, having had a decent 3DMark and SYSmark scores, the Winstone score should have been around the 27 mark. A score of 25.6 is reasonable, but disappointing from our view.
