Performance The Duron 750MHz is a welcome addition to the current range, but does the extra 50Mhz make that much of a difference? in terms of raw power we have carried out the benchmarks, but remember our benchmarks also take into consideration real time applications. We have used the Duron 700MHz as a benchmark for you to compare the difference and decide for yourself. We have also provided an AMD competitive comparison chart for your guide.
Mad Onion 3DMark 2000
![]() The result highlights the Duron 750MHz to be quicker than the 700MHz as you would expect, in the 800 x 600 test the 750Mhz scores 6615 3D marks and the 700MHz 6419 3D marks - (3.05% overall increase). The gap is less pronounced in 1024 x 768 test the 750MHz scores 6058 3D marks and the 700MHz 5926 3D marks - (2.22% overall increase). It is important to bear in mind the 3D tests are not purely processor dependant, the video card and it's drivers along with the supporting motherboard chipsets play a major role in these tests. The results of the 3D Mark 2000 should be used in conjunction with the other benchmarks we have attained.

![]() Consistency is the second title given to the Duron! The Duron 750MHz comes in with a mark of 149 whilst the 700MHz scores 143 - (4.20% overall increase). If the results are taken in the context of office applications and Internet content creation than 4.20% is a decent improvement.
ZIFF DAVIS - Content Creation Winstone 2000
